A toned down alternative to ROCKAOKE, ideal for house parties and children’s events.
Acoustaoke still rocks the house – but a little less loudly.
Acoustaoke is a stripped down, chilled out, 100% organic, zero emissions version of Rockaoke. Using acoustic instruments and minimal sound equipment, Acoustaoke is perfect for where volume and/or space and/or budget restrictions are an issue.
This format has gone down a quiet storm at private house parties as well as corporate events (Time Out London summer party, Persil Mosh & Wash, EMC, GHD, Asda, Northern Rail, Elle magazine, Hellmann & Friedman xmas party) and on the road at festivals (Camp Bestival, Festival No. 6, Standon Calling). It’s also become a must have piece of entertainment for hen/stag parties.
I have worked with Rockaoke for over 6 years now and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and energetic experience to suggest to their clients or for private parties, etc. They are always on hand and ready to come up with ideas that fit in with most themes but the fact that they can tweak their line-ups to fit in to most spaces (and budgets) make them a godsend.
I’ve used then numerous times over the years but great examples of how they have worked for events are when we used them for our Members Halloween night (Scaryaoke) – full band set up for 120 guests with Mat comparing and whipping the crowd in to a frenzy dressed as a well fed vampire. I’ve also used them really well in a stripped back format for clients like Google and Undercurrent, where they set up in a 2 piece acoustic style format for 35 guests (Acoustaoke). They have also worked well for weddings and once at a Barmitzvh (which was awesome!).
They are great guys, there is not a thing they cannot do and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of event. Except a funeral I suppose.
It was the best party I have ever been to in all my 60 years of parties! I didn’t think it would work quite so well in a room in a pub but it was perfect. My guests have been commenting on how encouraging the band was in a way that enabled people to take part without feeling press-ganged into it. You judged the atmosphere exactly right. Thank you for being so flexible and accommodating and professional!
We had a lovely Christmas party and would be very happy to recommend you for any occasion. I don’t know what ‘our’ Jonny ( CEO ) has in mind for next Christmas but more Rockaoke wouldn’t surprise me!
Just a quick message to say a huge thank you to the band – they were really awesome. The evening could not have gone any better, we all had the very best time. Now I just need to find an excuse to do it all again….
Many thanks to you guys for delivering a great show! Everyone loved it and we hope to repeat it in future!
